 Letter to Home (open)

Diego walked into the owl post in Hogsmeade to fire off a quick letter to home before sneaking back into Hogwarts before his absence was detected.
Selecting the largest and most sturdy looking owl for the job, he pulled from his robes a shiny silver quick-quotes-quill that he carried with him for such occasions. He asked for a small piece of parchment from the clerk, and after he got it and after the clerk left he began to speak to the quill.
“Dictate a letter,” he said calmly.
The quill rose in the air and hovered over the parchment, ready to write. Satisfied that the quill was ready he began.

“Dear Father,
I have arrived at Hogwarts without incident. I am also pleased to tell you that I have been chosen as a prefect this year. I also have every intention of joining the quidditch team, just as we talked about. I promise I will also find time…”

Diego stopped speaking as another Hogwarts student came closer; he watched the student suspiciously in case they were listening to what he was saying and decided to continue in another language.

“Buscaré para la cosa que usted necesita. Yo no fallaré, no es necesario para usted vuelva aquí. ¡Pero usted me debe dar suficiente tiempo!”

The quill scribbled furiously, until it had caught up.
Diego held the letter up. It was strangely businesslike and chaotic at the same time, sort of like his relationship with his father. But he did not have time to make it any better.
“Your devoted son, Diego. Oh, and P.S. – I am still practicing ‘soka sutan’,” he finally dictated, to finish the letter.
He quickly rolled up the parchment and sealed it, giving it to the owl and handing over a few galleons to the clerk in one motion.
“Take this to Gotxikoa, in Bizkaia,” he told the owl directly, who seemed to understand.

Cassiopeia was not listening in, but had heard some of it. She then walked around the boy, handing a letter too her grandmother, too an owl behind him, "Take this too Grandmom, Snowy, Please" she said too the owl, which was the one she used everytime, she wrote a letter too her Grandmother. She then quickly pushed her hair out of her hair, and turned back too the door, she was slightly thinking of talking too this boy, but she decided against it, walking towards the door. She was going too have too get back too the castle, without getting caught. Which could be hard.

“You should be expecting a large package to arrive in the next few days, addressed to me. It is fragile, and by no means are you to open it,” Diego said to the clerk after the owl he hired had taken off.
He gathered his things together and put his quick-quotes-quill back in his pocket, preparing to find a way back into the castle. The student he had been a bit rude to was still there, and he began to feel bad about his earlier suspicion.

“Miss?” he called out to her. It seemed they were both going to try to get into the castle, so he thought he’d offer some help.

September stood towards the back of the Post, holding the letters that she and her sister had written to their parents and brothers to send home. Watching the boy dictate to his quill in Spanish he learned of the other girl watching him, she saw was rather rude to her, and immediately thought to say something. But that just wasn't her style. More her sister's, really. Man, she'd kill her sister if she started dating someone like that. She knew what the boy said, a family friend having taught her to speak Spanish fluently, and it seemed suspicious to her. Why would he need efficient time to find it? And what exactly was this mysterious thing did his father needed? She saw that the only open worker at the post was the one the boy had just gotten done with, so she stepped up beside him and laid her envelopes on the counter. She picked out a copper coloured owl, one that she had used everytime before and was satisfied with it's delivery time. "Isis, take these to 12 Viewtop Court, please."

It seemed that the owl post was now quite busy.
The girl he had called out to had not heard him, so there was nothing more that could be done about his earlier rudeness. Maybe another opportunity would arise.
Making doubly sure he had gathered all his belongings Diego gave a quick unfelt smile to another girl who had walked in he hadn’t noticed, and he headed out the door without so much as a second glance.
Once outside he glanced around to see who might be watching, and instead of walking towards the gates to Hogwarts began to walk out of the village and into the woods.

Kane was walking up the stairs in his Gryffindoor robes, they were a bit slippery because it had just rained and it was still cloudy, he went in, there were three people standing there, one of them he remembered from class, he hurried past them rolled up a piece of parchment and started writing:

"Dear father
My first day here at Hogwarts has been the best.
On the train I met 2 very nice people named Shona and Darnek, they were really nice, they even let me sit in their compartment,
I've been getting known to our new teachers,
it seems almost all the staff has changed.
We've started our classes, it's going pretty good,
most teachers seem nice.
I've even met the famous Ronald Weasley,
he is our auror teacher.
Hope I'll get response.

Sincerely yours,
Kane"

Kane picked out an snowy white owl and told it where to go, hung the parchment piece on its leg and sent it out the window, he packed down the quill and headed for the common room.

September set a few coins on the counter for the clerk to take as payment for using an Isis, the coppery owl, and quickly exited the owlry after Diego, wanting to know where he was going as he had turned the wrong way to go back to the castle. Her red curls slightly obscured her vision, as she hadn't had time to tie it back before she snuck out of the school to make her way down here. Odd, she thought. He's heading into the woods. What is he doing? What is he looking for? She tried to keep the volume of her breathing and footfalls to a minimum so he wouldn't know she had followed, and kept a safe distance between them. She had no idea that December and Diego had grown quite fond of the other during a recent afternoon. Should he turn around, she had no idea that he might mistake her for December; she hadn't really spoken to her sister but for a few stolen moments before curfew, when she had aquired the letters. She and her sister were identical in looks, the only differences between them being a few quirks in their personalities.

On Diego walked into the forest, and up a small hill that overlooked Hogsmeade village. The only sound in the air was the chirping of birds and the crunching of twigs under his feet. He had no idea that he was being followed.
But his intentions were far from sinister. He stood still for a while taking in the clean forest wind, then he turned to face the village down the hillside and raised his arms in the air. Once again, Diego looked around briefly to see if someone was watching but didn’t see anyone. He closed his eyes.

The transformation was silent only took a second. His body had suddenly shrunk to a fraction of its size and his clothes changed into brown feathers, which quickly covered his broad wings. He was an animagus owl.
After a few second inspecting his wings with his beak, he flapped his wings furiously and flew high above, in the direction of Hogwarts castle.
This was how he had always gotten into and out of the castle grounds undetected; through the owlery where he would be mistaken for an ordinary owl until he was alone. The he would transform back into himself.

As he began to look around, she shoved herself behind a tree. She was slim enough that she could probably fit behind a twig and not get noticed. But him not seeing her wasn't what suprised her. Her jaw nearly hit the floor when he shifted himself into an owl. No way. September watched as he flew back the other way, towards Hogwarts, she was guessing.

Taking a few steps out into a small clearing, she saw the owl boy look down. Had he seen her? Oh, she hoped not. She wasn't wearing her robes, so even if he had, he'd never know what house she was in. She quickly started to run back the way she had came, dodging trees left and right. Once she came to the entrance of the school, she picked out a secret passage way that her sister had shown her. December had managed to get her hands on a copy of the Maurader's Map, and both had managed to memorize ways in and out of the castle. From there, it was up to her own wits to get her back to the dungeons.
