The bells tingled over head as the door to the sweet shop opened. This particular store had been around in hogsmaid for a while now. A short girl, with black hair entered smiling. She was wearing a cloak of deep red with a golden clasp and embroidery on it. Under neat she had simple muggle cloths on a pair of dark wash jeans and a black t-shirt. The clerk looked over at her and she nodded back.
Shona smiled as she entered the store. it was by far her favorite. She could spend hours in here just browsing the aisles looking at sweets. She did after all have a huge sweet tooth. She'd never forget when she entered the store for the first time in her third year. She'd fallen in love immediately. It was great to have a sweet store close to Hogwarts, it made it so much easier to keep her in stock. Shona had long since kept numerous sweets in a box that was covered in olive green silk. The box was brought out when she was spending a lot of time studying or felt sad.
The box is what had brought her here. Shona had been shocked to find it empty when she had opened it the day before. Thus she had planned a trip to honeydukes first thing the next day.
Shona picked up a basket that had been bewitched to be big enough to hold whatever she wanted. Walking slowly, as she was looking around Shona headed toward the back aisle where she would start the process of looking for candy,
I wonder if any one from school is here Shona thought to herself. As she found some chocolate that took the form of what ever she was thinking of when she touched it. Shona decided to try it out. When she took it into her small hands it took the shape of a music note. Shona smiled it worked alright, seeing as Shona had been thinking about the Lyrics to one of her favorite muggle songs. She heard the bells ring again and wondered who had entered.

Kane was down in Hogsmeade wondering where to go first, he thought to himself what will I need the most this year and thats when he spotted Honeydukes sweetshop, he headed for the entrance when he saw a girl with long black hair just enter, he thought he'd seen her before, he opened the door, it wasn't very crowded, Kane was walking around in dark black robes that matched his hair, he saw a lot of shelves packed with sweets he went around when he suddenly saw Shona and thought wow, didn't think I'd meet her here, wonder if she'll be pleased, then he walked over to her and looked up at the shelves thinking, wonder if she sees me, or if she wants to see me.
He was watching her every now and then to see if she had noticed him, then he concentrated at the sweets.

"Kane, how are you?" Shona asked him. She had heard the door bells when the door had opened and then saw Kane come into the back shelves. Her basket had quite a few sweets in it. Actually there was enough to happily feed two hogwarts houses. Shona smiled at him as she waited for him to answer.

Kane went scarlet red as usual when people talked to him he then said "Hi Shona, I'm fine and you?", he said as he was starting to pick up stuff for his own basket, then he turned to her and smiled as wide as he could, but then realizing he was looking stupid so he immediately closed his mouth.
Then he said "Taking a trip before Hogwarts?"

"Yeah before all the lessons get to stressful i should be restocked, though at this rate i have enough to feed the whole castle. " Shona told him. "so hows the castle and it's inhabitants been treating you?" Shona asked him as she proceded to the nest shelf trowing in a quite a few chocoalte frogs, she knew she could give the cards to someone or another seeing that she didn't collect them.

"As a ghost as usual, I may be there but they could walk right into me without noticing you know" he replied then realizing how sad that sounded and after that realizing how sad it was, he then took up some licorice wands and put them in his basket and turned to Shona saying "What about you, bet you have loads of people you can talk, your actually the first one I've talked to after getting to school, except the teachers"

This kid really has a way of making me feel awkward, i mean what am i suppose to say to "you the first person i talked to other then the teacher? oh thank you? Shona thought to herself as an awkward smile took it's place on her face. "I'm sure people notice you Kane" Shona said kindly. "your just really shy" THANK YOU CAPTAIN OBVIOUS shona thought to herself, but continued "and shyness can be interpreted as rudeness" she added hoping that the topic would soon change.

Kane went yet again red and said "What do you have this year, classes?" just to change the topic that looked like disturbed Shona, he smiled and picked up some chocolate frogs and looked back at her wondering maybe she want to come to Weasleys' wizard wheezes and get stuff from there.
"You wanna come to Weasleys' wizard wheezes after this with me, got to get some stuff to have fun with in the common room and if I'm late on homework I'll make myself sick, it's really fun there."
He looked away straight away after asking of this and looked at all the shelves walking around picking up stuff.

"I'm taking the classes necessary for becoming a healer or auror; so thats pretty much potions, transfiguration, herbology, defense...you get the idea. What about you?" Shona asked Kane. Thanking Merlin that he had changed the topic.
"You wanna come to Weasleys' wizard wheezes after this with me, got to get some stuff to have fun with in the common room and if I'm late on homework I'll make myself sick, it's really fun there." Kane said
"Make your self sick?" shona asked raising an eyebrow. "you know as an older student I'm not sure i should be allowing you to do that" Shona said. "But sure lets go to wizard wheezes as soon as a pay for this lot." she said referring to her candy.

"Well, I'm having so to say everything now, we're making time-tables for next year in the en of this year so then I'll know a bit more what I'm going to become, I'm most likely being an auror, the thought of people abusing magic to hurt people sickens me, so then I'll try and stop them, even die trying." Kane said with almost no breath he picked up a couple of more stuff and said "Don't say this to anyone but I used a secret passageway to get here, I'm a second year so I'm actually not allowed." He then thought, maybe I shouldn't have said that, maybe she'll tell the teachers.
He then moved over to the cashier and paid for the sweets he had bought himself and waited for Shona to pay too.

Kane followed her trying to think of something to talk about, he then said "You play Quidditch?"
He then thought that she probably did, since she went to Hogwarts, Kane saw Weasleys' wisarding wheezes and smiled, it had been such a long time since he'd been there.
