A Secret Trip *Shona* « Thread Started on Feb 18, 2008, 12:53pm »
It was slightly cold, still snowing and a tall figure made his was through the town of Hogsmeade with a slightly shorter figure holding his arm. He looked down to whisper something to her and continued onward. Finally, they reached the station and he sat on a bench, pulling her down next to him and embracing her in a huge warm hug.
"So, I was thinking, since you've been gone awhile we should...reconnect. So I've booked us a place to stay in a special place. Somewhere...special." He looked up as he waited for the Hogwarts express to arrive.

Shona looked at him a bewildered expression on her face. The two of them had been about to enter the castle when he had suddenly picked her up. When he had lifted her off the ground she put her arms around his neck instinctively.
"Where are you taking me?" she asked, Her voice only betrayed her fear slightly. Darnek had been know to be spontaneous, but he had never acted like this, and frankly it scared her. "Please Darnek put me down" It wasn't that she didn't enjoy being in his arms, but she knew she wasn't the lightest thing in the world and the had already carried her far enough.
When he put her down she sighed, then quickly held on to his arm. They walked like that trough the village of Hogsmaid silently. Nothing seemed to matter much as they walked together. Shona never took her eyes of him or stopped holding on to him.
When they reached the hogsmaid station he looked down at her and whispered " part one of our journey" He then sat down on the Bench closest to them, she didn't let go of him even as he sat, she knew he noticed that and gently pulled her down on the bench and pulled her in to his arms.
She threw her arms around his neck and held on to him desperately. He then said in his deep warm voice "So, I was thinking, since you've been gone awhile we should...reconnect. So I've booked us a place to stay in a special place. Somewhere...special." She looked at him once again her eyes showing how bewildered she was, the fright she had felt earlier had almost fully disappeared, almost.
"Where are we going to go?" shona asked after a few minutes. Her hand was in his, and the train had just pulled into the station.

"It's a secret." He stood up and pulled her with him as the train came to a stop. He nodded to the guy taking the tickets and handed out two then, looking behind him and into her eyes he boarded. He brought her to a compartment in the center of the train and sat, motioning for her to sit beside him. When they were settled he turned to her.
"When we get back to kings Cross we need to go through the barrier. We have no luggage so we may get some odd stairs but ignore the Muggles. When were out of the way I know this small pasture nearby. There we'll apparate to the hotel." He smiled. "But until we get there it's just the two of us." He leaned in slightly and kissed her.

She followed him wordlessly in to the compartment and sat down beside him. He quickly explained the plans he made. She opened her mouth to ask him something but he quickly captured it in a kiss. She smile against his lips and the put her arms around his neck. She kissed him back and let her hands run trough his hair. She felt him smile back and giggled slightly then broke the kiss.
She smiled up at him, today was the first time Shona had smiled in some time, " Now as i was going to say, what are we going to do about cloths? We can hardly wear the same cloths all weekend" Shona said kindly as she looked up at Darnek he brown eyes shinning.
Shona moved in closer to to Darnek and leaned her head into his chest and said softly " Thank you" Although she didn't know where he was taking her she knew she would not be disappointed. "Thank you so much, I love you" All of a sudden Shona put her hand to her mouth, she hadn't meant to tell him that. She did love him, but she had never said it to anyone before, not even her last boyfriend. What if he doesn't feel the same way? she thought franticly. " I-" she started. Looking into his eyes.

"There's clothing waiting for us in the hotel." He smiled, she always thought about the little things in life. That was one of the things he loved most about her. "We won't have to wear dirty cloths all weekend." She moved closer to him and he smiled, putting his arm around her he gave her a light hug. "Thank you so much, I love you" for a second he said nothing. He had never had anyone other than family actually tell him that. But he was happy. It made him feel like he had a purpose in life. He hugged her tighter and leaned in to whisper in her ear, "I love you too."

" I love you too" he whispered in her ear as he held her closely. She put her arms around his neck and held on to him. She knew she didn't want him to let go, but knew she had to. After a few moments they pulled away from each other Shona put her head on chest and stared out the window.
The view out side had changed from the quaint little village of hogsmaid to the snow covered hills of the English country side. Shona could see small muggle children tobogganing down the hill. It brought back memories of her own childhood where she slide down the hill then would walk up the hill taking twice as long as it did to walk up the hill then it did to go down it. But the moment she got back up she'd hop back on the sled and whiz of toward the bottom of the hill again.
With out thinking about it Shona put her hand on top of Darnek's and with her thumb started making circles on the back of his palm. She was still staring out the window lost in the own confines of her mind.

She started to pull away from him. He was reluctant at first, but then let her. She repositioned herself. He let his left arm fall over her shoulders and said nothing for awhile. He stroked her hair and let his glassy eyes focus on where he knew her eyes would be. Then he noticed by her position that she was watching of the window. "What is it? What do you see? Be my eyes, my dearest."

OOC::~ yay your back!...okay so I can't really talk because I haven't been on in forever, but I missed this site!
She turned her head up and smiled at him. It felt so right here, to be in his arms. "I just see muggle children tobogganing, like I use to do when I was a child" she told him softly.
She sat up a pit and pushed a bit of his hair out of his face. Letting her small hand run across his cheek remembering the time in the fifth year when she had slapped him.
Shona had just come down from the girls dorm in a white tank top that showed a bit of cleavage and in dark skinny jeans that would've normally been to long for her but fit her perfectly thanks to the heels she had worn. Her outfit had got her a few wolf calls and whistles which lead to Darnek asking "Why are you dressed like that"
She smiled and said "I'm going out on a date remember?"
"That still doesn't tell me why you're dressed like a tramp" he said spitefully
Shona had gotten so mad that she slapped him "Don't you dare ever call me a tramp again! Have you seen what the girls you date wear? They wear little skirts that hardly cover their buts and their tops hide noting! What right do you have to call me a tramp? What is you problem?" She had yelled before she stormed out of the room. The scene they had made had earned Shona a dirty look from on of the girls Darnek had dated and stares from every one else. The two of theme had been inseparable after all.
Her date had gone miserable the guy turned out to be an egoistic pervert who had droned on about himself and how far he'd gotten with the girls he dated in the past for 3 hours.
Shona returned to the common room dejected and upset. When she got in she found Darnek waiting up for her like he always did. He heard her come in and came over and quickly hugged her asking her if she was alright. That was the night Shona realized that she liked Darnek as more then a friend but she was to scared to tell him. He had told her that he was sorry for what he said and he was simply trying to protect her but it hadn't work.
She smiled at the memory fondly it was only now that she realized why Darnek had dated those girls and why he had commented on her cloths, she also now realized how much her words must have hurt him. "Darnek," she said softly, "when are we going to get there?" she was an impatient person and really wanted to see what he had in store for them. This whole trip was just one spontaneous moment after the other.
