It was extremely sumptuous; the fittings were made of white marble, the room was lit by an extravagant candle-filled chandelier, and the bath was almost the size of a swimming pool, complete with a diving board. The edges of the bath were lined with a hundred gold taps, which each delivered a different kind of bubble-bath mixed with piping hot water. A pile of fluffy white towels was provided.
